The gown and graduation cap are required all the time in the graduation ceremony exercise; on the stage, during the conferring of degrees and for the group picture.
All attendees (students and guests) will need to have a negative PCR test result posted on Al-Hoson Application done within 48 hours before the ceremony date to be able to access the graduation ceremony venue.
Students participating in the graduation exercise must adhere to the timing that will be circulated via email and SMS.
It is MANDATORY for all students attending the Graduation Ceremony to participate in the rehearsal session which is one day before the Graduation Ceremony. Rehearsal is a preparation to students to get ready for the big walk, graduated students will be prepared to the procession walk during the beginning of the ceremony and while conferring degrees. Students will also practice their procession in seating in order. The seats are arranged based on college, degree and highest grade.
(*) Failure not attending the rehearsal session will result in loss of participation in the ceremony, please do not make plans for either the day of graduation neither the rehearsal.
Graduation ceremony is considered the largest academic event held each year, it’s an honorable ceremony that will leave a lasting impression on all attendee. Exemplary and flawless behavior are essentials. No individual has the right to ruin the ceremony for everyone else. During the ceremony, the students are not allowed to:
(*) Violation of the above code of conduct will result in loss of participation in the ceremony.
All guests are reminded to be on time on the day of ceremony before the closure of the Hall. Sitting arrangement is on “first in” basis, there is no reservation system. Guests should remain quiet and courteous all the time.
(*) Violation of the above code of conduct your guest will not be able to enter to the ceremony hall.
Undergraduate Graduated students (ONLY) will be called based on their highest CGPA in Latin Honors, however expected to graduate students will be called as an “Expected to Graduate” since they did not finish their graduation requirements.
Honored graduated students will wear sashes in different color depend on their academic standing.
